On May 17 or 18, depending on where we are on the planet, the final Sun-Uranus conjunction in the sign of Taurus takes place, at 27 degrees and 17′. The first conjunction during the current transit of Uranus, in this sign occurred on April 23, 2019, at 2 degrees and 31′ of Taurus. Although the synodic cycle is annual, this upcoming conjunction seems to mark the final chapter of completion of Uranus’s theme purpose in Taurus. For all of us, it signals the evolution of all issues that were awakened or shaken in relation to our values since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018 — all matters ruled by Venus, as well as their spiritual content, the creative or experimental spirit we infused into what we possess, what defines our individual values, aesthetics, our resources, and our belongings.

The first Geminian cycle will begin on May 22, 2026, at 1 degree of Gemini. Theoretically, the purpose of Uranus’s transit through Gemini will become more conscious or illuminated a few months after its ingress into the sign in July 2025. How did we respond to changes in the collective sphere? How did we exercise our willpower and leadership spirit in relation to these themes?

The Sun illuminates meaning and purpose. Uranus always brings the energy of upheaval, shock, awakening, and probes experimentation, individuation. It can unexpectedly take things away or lead to questioning, open new paths (for others), innovate, or attempt alternative approaches. It may also reveal trends of altruism or even detachment — depending on where one stands and how attuned they are to these energies.

What is certain, is that we have experienced profound destabilization over these years, but we have also witnessed how everything we consider significant in the realm of materiality, fertility, joy, the senses, and values has contributed to substantial changes in our relationship with the whole.

If we are to look in our natal charts for unlocking meaning, we must focus on Venus, the Sun, the houses they rule and their themes, also natal Uranus and the house where the upcoming conjunction takes place. The next Sun-Uranus conjunction in the sign of Taurus will not occur for approximately 78 years (in the year 2103).

Uranus in Taurus, has expressed the energy of individualization, originality, reform, and inventiveness into our lives, both in a positive and creative manner, but also in an uncomfortable way (fixed earth).

How many things shocked us from 2018 to 2025, in the fixed areas where values are founded and give shape to the world, — the material realm of life, fertility, our evaluations, and the things we appreciate, — and how many of these led us to create or try a different approach, adopt new habits? (Taurus is the exaltation of the Moon).

How did we perceive the realm of the senses, of food, our relationship with the body, and pleasure, nature, inner peace and pace, calmness, aesthetic values, money, relationships — both internally and externally?

Where did we take care of ourselves — and where didn’t we?

What did we detach from, and where did we experiment?

Where did the world seem strange to us, what did we question, and where did we draw inspiration for progress, freedom, innovation and creativity?
