New Moon at 28 Scorpio 17′

Shared resources, values, truths, deeper or inner clarity-Returning to the past to redefine the path forward.

The current lunar cycle at 28° Scorpio 17’, likely prevents something from being completed—at least for now—or calls for a re-evaluation and going deeper with efforts or matters of concern. It brings us back to older issues or innovative ideas (2018: Uranus entering Taurus; 2019: first Sun–Uranus cycle; May 2025: last Sun–Uranus cycle). What did we do professionally since 2018? What choices and life decisions did we make? What were our values within those choices? What was the political and economic landscape? What did we create, what did we acquire, how did we use it, and what did we lose? How did we change in terms of self expression, choices, and individuation, and regarding groups or collective endeavours and people within our generation? Let us take stock.

This cycle is potentially healing and liberating—it urges us to move from where we are, think, feel or stand. Something is ending; something comes into our awareness. Rigidity, division, or an awakening is emphasised, in our relationships that requires compromise or some sort of experimentation or reform. It brings to the surface data and information regarding matters that require different approaches, may unsettle us, or involve mistakes, irregularities, or problems. There may be inner turmoil, especially emotionally or in the home environment; or a sense of urgency, impatience, or endurance—a need, perhaps urgent, to make a transition that is delayed or still needs some time. We may need an overall view of a situation, or to try many options and alternative solutions. It is indeed pressing to consider whether we should hold on or insist on a situation, mindset or decision (and at what cost?). Intuition guides more accurately, while feelings and desires may also affect moods.

Pluto, the only planet in an Air sign, may bring release or crisis within groups and organizations, as well as possible resignations, radical changes or dismissals in workplaces. This cycle is intense, but also calls for solving problems and re-doing things. Somehow there is a need to overcome a communication problem or planning problem. Deprives or overthroows something, or demands a different approach, correction, or reformative action so something can be repeated more correctly—with more certainty, which presupposes communication, learning or intuition. Something may need to be done quickly, but patience and composure are perhaps more helpful. Some matters require further investigation. Something we share or possess will concern us. Issues of shared resources, obligations to third parties, and many aspects of our psyche and habits change during the month. Different approaches may arise through reconnections to people, ideas, knowledge, and expressing opinions or skills.

This cycle contains both opportunities and realisations of dead ends both internally and externally, but also pushes us—perhaps through surprises and upheavals—to revisit pre-existing matters from a new perspective. Above all, it urges us to share thoughts and go deeper, with trust in relationships and in the things and subjects that matter to us. To heal issues that pre-exist in our psyche and environment. We will have opportunities and reasons to reflect on what is right and wrong—or to show others that there is an alternative way to resolve, assist or correct issues. A return to matters of agreements, collaborations, but especially financial or legal issues, is certain, taking us back to the periods May 17–25, 2025 and August 24–September 3, 2025. Something promised to us may arrive with delay, as we may have expended, time and resources in the meantime. A matter may remain in limbo for a while, or involve ambiguities that must be re-examined. Everything may seem urgent and critical.

Yet this is not necessarily so. External factors may impede the smooth progress of what we are handling, giving us the chance to reflect, think things through more carefully or deeply. Let us examine whether what is being communicated—if it isn’t obvious—is valid or not. The New Moon cycle challenges us to free ourselves from futile efforts, obsessions, and anxieties, and to philosophize matters. It challenges the mind to delve deeper, to question, to revise, or awaken—also in relationships and collaborations. We return to discussions to discard or strengthen information, ideas, views, and ways of sharing. This cycle has some retro trend to it, so for creators, reserarchers and artists it supports adaptations, reconstructions, and improvisations on old patterns, methods, techniques, or works.

The kite formation may be positive if the Moon–Sun–Mercury opposition balances with Uranus (to reconcile with what does not support,, what challenges security, what may feel unsettling, what doesn’t provide the security we need, what asks one to change). Otherwise, we need to re-examine, if we are trapped in vicious cycles, causing reluctance to move forward, clinging to past experiences, behavior patterns, management styles, and responses. It may easily create or inflate problems, especially on an internal level. We may return to research with curiosity, plans, or ventures that previously could not progress, or feel the need to penetrate deeper into creativity, authentic values, and the meaning of things. Support exists where relationships and ideological frameworks are healthy and substantial, and where we do not fear differing opinions. This cycle emphasizes patterns of co-dependence with others. Nothing materialises unless the mind cretaes it. What we think and not voice, affects the body, mood, and inner world.

The stellium in Scorpio urges us to heal, assist, to finish matters, and to find healthy, alternative ways forward. This requires disengaging, or going deeper. The cycle asks us to get out of our comfort zone and change our approach. Many things may surprise us; a tendency for skepticism or nervousness may arise, while we must also return to unfinished business and become more inventive. Others—or we ourselves—may change the way we counted on certain things. The search for more information and knowledge is necessary for reaching solutions and evolving the matters that concern us. Subjectivity prevails; personal and subjective approaches or solutions are favored. Relationships and finances become tied to potential complexity and issues of scarcity, control, or needing further assistance, while creativity and unconventional perception may reveal what we are trully missing or what we truly need, to allow important changes to take shape by spring 2026. If one is conscious of what they want and what weighs on them, this is an important moment for deeper understanding; if one is uncertain at least they can better understand what they do not need or wish for anymore.

On a broader level, the current Sun–Uranus and Mercury–Uranus cycles are at their peak—cycles that concern the awakening of the mind, skills, and the way we facilitate or establish connections, contacts, and agreements with others, as well as values, possessions, creations, finances, and aesthetics (themes of Uranus in Taurus from 2018–2025-6). This is the last planetary cycle in this zodiac sign until 2103. Security is not the goal of the cycle, but rather what and how we share—and whether it functions healthily or has exhausted its purpose. There is flow, need for compromise and resistance, and the desire to try new things depends on guidance, and emotional intelligence. Accumulated experience in one area, needs to make the next step and express more flexibility. These themes apply on a personal, or collective level.

This Lunar cycle may have a more personal feel for you:

If you have planets or points at 27–29° of the fixed signs (Taurus-Leo-Scorpio-Aquarius), and/or 00–01° of the Mutable signs, and 24-29 degrees of Water and Earth signs.
