Planets in apparent Rx motion are close to earth. So, everything they signify is closer to us, thus subjective. They are great for subjective matters and very personal projects, not objective matters. The phenomenon is part of a cycle in relation to the Sun. It is like a leap in time between past and future. Look to the matters that are ruled by the planet beeing retrograde in your chart, there is potentially a theme there, or a thread. Retracing steps is revealing something to you. In reference to Mars retrograde look to the houses that have Aries and Scorpio on the cusp, and the house that transit Mars is Retrograde in Leo and Cancer, for relevant themes. The Sun Mars cycle started in November of 2023 at 25 Scorpio. It will reach its opposition in mid January 2025. Go back to that time, and think of it as a seed moment of investing your energy, which at this current time you need to review and become more aware of, in relation to your goals. Check to see if the 25 Scorpio degree is conjuct a significant planet or point in your chart. This degree is also opposed by Uranus in Taurus at the moment. There is something we need to change, or make reforms to, as part of this two year cycle, that can be creative and innovative. It may be experienced as disruptive or a destabilising energy from external factors, yet in every chart there are different configurations and interpretations differ. The areas activated or the roots of matters lie in your Sun, Mars and Uranus natal placements primarily. These two are very personal points, and connect to a transpersonal point to do with individuation, reform and creativity in connection to collective contribution or engagement. How we approach autonomy and promoting goals and projects is undergoing a major reform and awakening, and perhaps creative breakthroughs in the process. Scorpio is a sign of shaping and shifting something, transforming it, eliminating, and truth seeking. Mars currently in Leo and Cancer, is about our very own core of existence and life, and creative potential. Being authentic in what we do and dealing with rooting and uprooting notions of ourselves is of primary importance. In this process we may also realise that we can do things differently in some area.
