Full Moon in Libra today, and everything leads back to Venus, which is at 3 degrees of Taurus (the Moon’s highest exaltation) and forming an applying square to Pluto.
A very active Full Moon that shakes things up and brings significant change. Issues of security and protection of what has been gained come to the forefront. Money, values, finances, relationships, alliances, emotions, aesthetics, and creations all undergo crises, tension, transformation, and deep, fated change. There may be disagreements, but also new initiatives, and potential in all of the above.
The Moon illuminates what we need and what is missing: balance, justice, diplomacy, harmony, peace, fairness, and beauty. With emphasis on the cardinal cross, situations unfold with plot, drama, and power dynamics that affect our relationships.
The fixed signs of Taurus and Aquarius in this Full Moon, as Venus squares Pluto, relate to support from the group—or the lack of it—along with financial and value-based, or security matters. How we provide for those (Venus apllies to Ceres in Taurus), or what is deprived. Questions of security and protection around validation and acceptance arise. Something intensifies. Something must change in our perspective and in the way we approach these themes. Jupiter expands what it touches, and this is self righteousness, self-will, initiative and feelings, which are revealed. Lack of tolerance or big egos clash with the need to be diplomatic and fair.
You cannot keep changing yourself to be accepted or liked, nor give in to pressure or suppress your values and desires just to receive support from a group or from those more powerful than you. However, you can feel inspired by a group or a belief to create and to feel stronger. You may also need to stand firm in what has value for you, even without support. This includes attachments, challenges, and obsessions.
Difficult negotiations and ethical dilemmas arise, requiring deep and honest truth—and possibly a price to pay. If something or someone fascinates us, it may consume us entirely. If something pressures us, it will force us to shift perspective, confront, or realize that now is the moment when something is lost forever—or when something must be done, marking the next step. Issues of privacy vs public sharing may surface.
We may help others see things differently through effort. We may give in to pressure, experience pressure, or make a breakthrough. Excess, waste, and lack of moderation dominate reactions—either within us or in our environment. At the same time, the search for meaning becomes urgent, potentially leading either to spiritual loneliness or to a need for reflection on the bigger picture.
For whom are we doing what we do? How and why will we continue—and at what cost?
What is missing: Capricorn—self-discipline, effectiveness, consistency, organization, commitment, results, goal orientation, and above all, responsibility.
The trine between Mercury and Jupiter from Pisces to Cancer may save the situation—or offer an alternative way to resolve an important or critical issues through intuition and emotional intelligence..
Love, relationships, exchanges, and money become matters engaging with right and wrong, ideas and evaluations. Who controls whom? On a collective level, the economy and security are under strain—some are deprived while others reap enormous benefits. Justice, values, and meaning are shaken.
On a personal level:
If you are beginning a relationship, accept that it will disrupt your comfort zone—you will experience it intensely and perhaps at a cost. It will be complicated and hard to explain to others. Values will be transformed.
If you are in a relationship, allow it to change in some way.
If you are separating, it may take time to accept it and it may be complicated.
Many will experience family disagreements or fears and issues in relationships around security and moralitymay lead to powerplays. Avoid such scenarios in relationships. Be creative and love each other without fear of the uknown. Do not suppress your partners or collaborators out of fear of losing them or losing something. Do not give or withhold things in order to demand something in return.
Relationships are changing—some in intense and empowering ways, others through control dynamics. Pressure to change one another emerges. But first and foremost an intense need to be empowered through uniting with what and who one values on a deeper level. The coming days may feel difficult to manage and include many choices and dilemmas related to these themes.
We need to be mindful of what we attract into our lives, what we accept, and adopt a more conscious stance toward what is worth protecting—both individually and collectively.
Pluto leads until July. What inspires us and what pressures or weakens us becomes more conscious, and imbalances of power become increasingly visible.
Aquarius relates to social inclusion, and Pluto is radically transforming this area through crises: who is in, who is out, and on what terms. The personal and subjective element of each individual becomes more pronounced through the planets in Aries, Taurus, and Cancer, revealing much in attitudes and behaviors. This will bring us closer to some people and distance us from others—with greater honesty. Keep that as a positive.
Drive and enthusiasm are expressed—sometimes excessively or arrogantly—but they may also help more reserved individuals take a step they have long wanted but did not dare.
Even in difficult conditions, Venus with Pluto asks us to find joy in what we do, to release fears, and to live and express our desires more intensely.
This Full Moon may feel more personal to you: If you have planets or points at 3–6 degrees of the fixed signs and 12–17 degrees of the cardinal signs. For those with planets or points at 2–6 degrees of the cardinal signs—where Saturn and Neptune in Aries are transiting—the influence will last longer.
