On June 30th, 2026, Jupiter completed its year-long transit through Cancer (begun June 9-10th, 2025) and moved into Leo. Has something shifted energywise in your life? Jupiter is not simply about the opportunities we give or receive; it is about our participation in the continuation of life’s meaning. Meaning, or enthusiasm, can manifest across the whole spectrum, from its healthiest to its most excessive forms. As Jupiter now travels through Leo, themes of identity, children, creations and creativity, risk, speculation and investments come into the light, as well as everything that sustains and vitalises life. Jupiter in the homes of the Luminaries is ephasisng what is vital and life giving in our lives, associates with peak experiences, and this time around, is even more potent to examine it, as it is a crucial activator and contributor of larger planetary cycles aligning, with the second part of July being the month that this shift is more evident.

The year of Cancer was the Moon’s lesson, a year of peak experiences on the level of feeling and our habitual zones and patterns: intense inner states that felt deeply personal, an inward, absorbing process that enriched our memories and affected our lives closing big chapters and opening new ones. With its focus on protection, on roots and origin, on caring for ourselves and others, on protecting and being protected, Jupiter was a guest in a house where the host changes mood, aim, and intentions every 2.5 days, and it learned, along with us, the flexibility of the ‘good guest’. It was a year that drew us gently (or abruptly) out of our safe places and comfort zones: it tested our faith, acquainted us with the relationship between promise and realism, tolerance and boundaries, and perhaps taught us how resonating our faith and vision with the mood of the day or atmosphere around us, can have its ups and downs, high drama and intense sharing. It may have felt like we lived many lives, and experienced a broad range of dimension of responses, in the course of one year. It may be worth asking ourselves: what nourished and supported us this year? What did we absorb, and enriched us inwardly? Where did our intuition and emotional intelligence guide us well and creatively, and where did it catch us unprepared? Which memories do we keep and cherish? What did we realise we no longer need, or isn’t healthy? Where did we move, literally, emotionally, or psychologically? Which habits changed? Where did we find solace?

With the ingress into Leo, the energy turns outward: from response, receptivity and protection, to revelation, a more extroverted, visible expression that calls for action, self-will, and the solidifying of results through long term choices. The new host, the Sun, does not change mood every 2.5 days; each month it opens a different ‘room’ of the house and gives us the time to truly inhabit it, and gain perspective. The lesson shifts from learning through repetition and intuition, to commitment by choice, although the ingress chart, with its chain of rulers closing into a circuit and Mercury stationing retrograde, reveals that we need to return to the source of things, and perhaps a new way of connecting with the world, through a skill, a connection, an idea or an interest. That commitment is not a moment but a cycle to be verified and corrected: our decisions and ways of solving problems, will be rediscussed, re-thought, reviewed and corrected. The Full Moon of the ingress, with Saturn at its apex, reveals what has been collected and gestating now asks for simplification, decluttering, reflection, organisation, and making space for what truly matters. And as the need for validation is magnified through Leo, and identity, or collective developments enter a new phase, the questions become personal: what is authentic expression and creation? what do i wish to create? does what I create matter, and in waht way? what is the lifestyle I adopt, and how can I contribute through who I am, paradigm and action for making it better? and finally how to now actualise and give form to what was inspiring or created, during the Cancer transit.

There is also a deeper shift: the contacts with the great, slow collective shifts of cycles of our era, which last year we absorbed and we forced to adapt to, as a wave washing through daily lifes and survival, and are now taken over by Jupiter itself, giving them substance, perspective and narrative, and activating within July its own twelve-year cycles seeded in 2020 (Capricorn), 2022 (Pisces), and 2024 (Taurus). What was sown then reaches a more action oriented phase , and a culmination phase through the Jupiter-Pluto cycle (Fire and Air), with forces externalising and truths being revealed around structures and systems, values and elements that we need to release, while underlying patterns and potentials, becoming more visible than ever. The Leo/Aquarius opposition, brings into awareness that which we no longer can pretend not to see. The square to Chiron speaks not of a deficit but of a fresh awareness of the need to correct or overcome: The need to make space for holding various discourses and perspectives, or perhaps a call to support and explore new ways that values and security can be approached. It is a lifestyle change, as well as a spiritual change. An opportunity to bridge creativity and hobbies with assisting and sharing with others, or learning new things. Collectively, this is an invitation to respond in more authentic ways, and to gain a new awareness of what does not work and attempt to fix it. In our approach towards assesment of various fields of creativity which includes risk taking and investments, as well as values, security and ownership. We may see legislative measures taken around creations, identity, and children or structures that affect value systems and distribution of commodities and wealth, starting to take new form.

A question worth asking on a personal level, is what do we truly value, what is really worth keeping and working on in a more authentic way, what do we feel passionate about, and what do we stand for that promotes a betterment, and we need to keep and stabilise? A new factor or endeavour we are working on may not be ready yet, or worked out properly, and needs more time. What is really motivating us, and which viewpoints and values do we hold onto that are no longer working? Which are real critical dilemmas about what is valid or not, and which have an ethical or moral bias component that needs much more serious consideration.

For each of us, the story will be written on a different stage of life, yet within collective changes far too significant to pass over. And if Cancer taught us something about gratitude and connection, through repetition, sharing, holding space for all feeings, our emotional security zone, caring and trying new things, Leo invites us to turn it into brave, visible, authentic expression: to return to life what was given to us, through actions that come from the heart, are founded on integrity and contribute. For what is truly abundant is what keeps flowing from our centre wholeheartedly, extends beyond the ego, and serves betterment.
