Time to reconcile with and speak our truths. Need for adventure and new experiences. The response to the unfamiliar. The way we reflect on the big picture through the will to communicate and connect leads to significant shifts of consciousness and generates active changes.

The Gemini/Sagittarius polarity is the axis of perception, learning, understanding, conceptualising and is related to all systems and structures that support and shape the process of responding to stimuli and developing experience, both at a mental and a material level. Themes that maybe prominent: Mobility, knowledge, education, ideology and dogma, the relationship between the familiar and the unfamiliar, legal issues, information management and communication with important others.

How much we believe or understand the stimuli and data we receive,  and how they will motivate further actions will be issues that become of concern during the next two weeks.

The Moon is near the Galactic centre, and this is an area that collectively and personally co-ordinates us with higher frequencies and information, as well as presents potentiality of a shift in our global consciousness. The need to live, envision, explore with more passion and enthusiasm but also to receive and reflect in meaningful ways, is increased and will lead us to significant shifts of interest that will become more apparent with the Summer Solstice and especially with the New Moon / Solar Eclipse in the sign of Cancer on July 2nd. All this results from the demand to learn, to connect and communicate, but also to understand more about ourselves. What ultimately makes sense to us, and what is our outlook on life? Our perception of freedom expands horizons, and the information we receive either helps us to gain confidence, or to promote a spiritual and philosophical shift. What we believe in and what ultimately makes sense, the belief system we adhere to in life, is something to explore and something that is mainly developed as an inner process, at least until Jupiter goes direct on August 11.

A Full Moon on Fire and Air signs, denotes extroversion, communication, an active approach, and a sort of negotiation through new experiences, and information either in the ideological or material spheres of life, leading to the impetus for very important and meaningful changes in areas triggered by the eclipses (Cancer / Capricorn) in our natal charts.

The need for flexibility in our journeys, (mental and literal) and the tendency to juggle several things at the same time is present. Mars and Mercury in Cancer apply to their opposition with Pluto in Capricorn aspects that will perfect in the next few days, so we will notice tension, action and the need to balance situations or negotiate important issues either to do with ourselves or in rapport with important others. Mars activates the degrees of the July 17th Lunar Eclipse, so the next few days are very likely to trigger issues that we will be dealing with for a much longer period of time and will bring to the surface important changes in our lives. (More affected on a personal level are those who have planets or points at 20-24 degrees of cardinal signs).

The opposition of any planetary archetype that is closer to the Sun, with Pluto (the god of the Underworld) is a dialogue that calls for reconciliation with hidden and transformational forces. The need to  confront hidden issues, passions, to break taboos and fears, to make radical changes, to consolidate relations and situations, to activate important or powerful agreements, partnerships and relationships are alternative scenarios of manifestation. We may also have empowering conversations about important matters that have remained buried or unsaid for too long.

Facing something we may not have known, and taking action is possible too. Mercury with Mars promotes sharpness of mind and mental acuity, investment of energy in ideas and plans, with Pluto the power to persuade, to conquer perhaps through confrontation or some kind of competition. Cancer placements act intuitively and emotionally. We need to be mindful of our internal dialogue, there maybe a tendency to respond to the negative aspects of problems, so our words and thoughts are something that we should pay attention too, in case we are challenged, confronted or experience aggressive behaviour. (Mercury is out of bounds). Besides, it is the mind that shapes the perception of our reality.

Mars’s opposition with Pluto is an aspect that can speak of great stamina, courage and accomplishment so we may see some great records in the field of sport or research, along with Mercury, evidence and information may be revealed, trade and commerce are also a prominent themes that may manifest as power deals or even a tug of war in the respective areas. The promotion of propaganda campaigns, as well as conflict or violence in the collective sphere are likely.

It is a time when we can achieve very significant things, make very substantial empowering changes that will assume a long lasting effect and present a higher purpose and perspective to our lives if we operate on the basis truth, ethos and we become more hospitable to new experiences and knowledge.

Cancer is the sign of exaltation of Jupiter, so we can develop very important ventures, engage in ideology, beliefs and spiritual interests, or extend experiences in our lives that, apart from the personal effect, can also filter through to collective and social sphere or potentially shape a new avenue in our lives.

Thus, there is a shift of mental consciousness that is also filtered through intuitive faculties due to Mercury’s placement in Cancer, which on the one hand has a tendency to moodiness and on the other can heighten our instinctual attitude in associating with life, others and everything that triggers our interest. Mercury is out of bounds, so it promotes unconventional thinking, we may associate with ideas and people outside the usual contexts of our lives. We can make new friendships and contacts in an unusual way, or if we get out of our familiar zone. Another aspect worth noting is the trine Venus makes with the asteroid Pallas Athena, which harmonizes relationships with creative intelligence and strategic thinking, gives a tendency to express affections in independent ways, and forms relationships,  instigates romance and alliances mainly through the mental connection and communication exchange. The need to accept that things are fluid, and even if we manage difficulties or get presented with revelations, we can rely on a kind of a defensive emotional zone of protection and establish faith in the natural flow of developments around us reflecting on what we ‘hear’ and the kind of messages we receive. We are changing direction as we mature but also as our understanding of things continues to mature.

The full moon is the culmination of the lunar cycle that began on June 3 in Gemini, which set a new intention regarding the way we communicate and make connections with the world and the environments in which we operate. What has essentially began since the Spring Equinox, and the New Moon in April in the sign of Aries, is given momentum to be exchanged, shared and communicated, and also gain meaning that would further instigate a shift  and become synthesised into seed-action as we enter the new season. At this time is important to be flexible, and to disseminate and communicate our truths and visions.

The Gemini/Sagittarius axis speaks about the need to shift our mental GPS to gain meaning so it is important to engage with the big ‘why’s’ and perhaps become a little wiser too. Above all, to clarify matters that have been of concern to us or important others. If we do not know something, we should investigate and explore  it more or have more tolerance regarding information coming our way.

The Sagittarius Moon broadens our inner vision and resonates with global awareness. Time defines our reality, it shows the consequences but it is as if something has matured at the same time, on issues that we should deal with and need to overcome or solve that stem from the past. Dogmatism and exaggeration will not help at this time, yet professing truths can be eye opening and a learning experience for many. We can trust the element of Fire (Sagittarius) that is truth seeking, wants justice, operates with optimism and helps us to expand our perception of the world, but also assists in gaining faith in improving our lives and overcoming problems. It is time to discover the beacon of our spiritual compass.

(If you are familiar with your natal chart, look at the houses where the Full Moon occurs, and  you will be able to gain more insight on which sectors of life are seeking balance. Check also which houses are activated through planetary activity at 20-24 degrees Cancer / Capricorn. These are the sectors will become more important for you, in the next few days and most probably well into 2020.)

The full moon has a more personal feel for you:

If you are a Sagittarius Sun born December 16-19, a Gemini Sun born June 15 -19, a Virgo Sun born September 16-20 and a Pisces Sun born  March 14-18. You may also be affected if you have planets, angular house cusps or points at  25 (+/- 2) degrees of mutable signs and/or 19-24 degrees of cardinal signs (Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra).

I hope you all enjoy this Full Moon! Jupiter shines bright in the night sky near the Moon.

(In my analysis I take more into account the applying aspects of the planets)
