The mysterious disappearance of Amelia Earhart

Featured

1–2 minutes

One of the most intriguing mysteries is the disappearance of pioneering pilot Amelia Earhart. There are reports suggesting that wreckage of her plane may have been found. She disappeared on July 2, 1937. A deep-sea drone conducted searches between September and December 2023. The Lunar Eclipse of last October falls on her Ascendant degree, 04 Taurus. Her mysterious disappearance is indicated by her natal Venus-Neptune conjunction, and with Pisces on the cusp of the 12th house, the oceanic environment is emphasized. The Solar Eclipse that occurred a month before her disappearance (see chart below) is on her natal Venus-Neptune conjunction. The 12th house is ruled by Jupiter and co-rulerd by Neptune. Transit Jupiter is approaching Uranus in her 1st house, this coming April. Aircrafts are ruled by Uranus. We also see her progressed Sun in a sextile with progressed Jupiter, is truth coming to light about her disappearance? The period the recent research was conducted, transit Mercury was retrograde in Sagittarius, in the 8th and 9th house of her natal chart. Let’s wait for the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in late April, we may have the revelation. The story of this brave woman is very intriguing, and we also see how an astrological chart highlights events for research even after death. (Astrology is a very useful tool).

Pluto in Aquarius Diary Notes I

Featured

24 March 2023-11 June 2023,

21 January 2024-2 September 2024

20 November 2024-9 March 2043

Last time Pluto was in Aquarius, 1777-1798.

When a slow outer planet changes signs it is a big moment. Pluto the agent of transformation, is changing signs from Capricorn to Aquarius where it will stay for 20 years. The transition from Cardinal Earth to Fixed Air, means that something is surfacing and rising, or maybe changing from something tangible to something intangible. Earth gives form to things, while Air disseminates information and ideas. As this is a slow planet, it will take one and a half year to make its full entry into Aquarius. Pluto is still a subject for astrological reasearch. So, it may be more helpful to appreciate its effects in this sign, slowly in our lives and collective experience, observe, ask questions and take notes:

  1. With Pluto in Aquarius, the Moon in cardinal signs is finally free since 2008. This besides other interpretations could mean on a collective level that the vox populi (public opinion) will be liberated, more impulsive, and adventurous, and certainly harder to control, manipulated or coersed. It maybe easier to initiate, yet things will be tested for their follow up and consistency.
  2. Do you find that the period that Pluto ingressed in Aquarius last Spring liberated your intuitive mind, the way you reflect on things, your responses, your natural self, habits, and needs? You may feel less ‘blocked’ about the area the Moon is placed and rules in your natal chart. There is still a bit more Pluto in Capricorn from Sept. to November 2024, yet we may have already noticed some fresh changes on the above, that we will practice more as this long transit of Pluto fully engages with the territory Aquarius. I have certainly started to change some unhealthy habits and I have become more aware of them. It maybe helpful to also look at your natal Pluto and Uranus placements, as well as the house that Pluto transits in your chart.
  3. It would be interesting to see if Pluto in Aquarius will see the radical change of the way astrology is viewed as a therapeutic tool. We may see a strengthening of the practice of astrology and psychology joining forces. I mean therapy or healing through astrology, which isn’t at all something new for astrologers, but maybe it will evolve, and psychologists would acknowledge its value and start collaborating with astrologers. Aquarius is sextile and trine Aries and Libra (the partnership and consultation axis). Pluto in Aquarius will generally tend to act as an agent of transformation for all kinds of ‘marriages’, partnerships, contracts, treaties. Personal, national, or international.
  4. Has the group dynamic or energy changed in your life? Aquarius is a sign of social aptness and aloof. Did you notice any changes in your creativity? Leo is opposite Aquarius. Did you notice any significant changes on the way you give and receive love, between you, your creativity, and your friends or groups of like minded individuals? Depending on which age group and generation we belong, this may take an altered meaning.

To be continued…

A message for 2024

To be present – A new beginning

As the world’s timer switch marks the end of one calendar year and the beginning of a new one, we automatically enter a position of temporary pause, in anticipation, a crossing, a threshold that has to do with experience. Our personal and collective rituals and all that we habitually do at this point in time become perceptions, turn our vision inwards and into the future, depending on our vantage point. Collective moments of a ‘ritual’ and a kind of initiation process, coordinated with greater intensity with two extreme poles of experience (togetherness and distance). The experiences that unite us, that bring us closer, and those that divide and alienate us. Those we move away from, or leave behind, and those we are going to or wishing to encounter. So, this moment, regardless of the proximity and distance that distinguishes it, is an in-between space, surrounded by wishes, with several messages; some seem fake and superficial, some hold true meaning. Nevertheless, the end of the year feels like a good moment for personal decisions or resolutions to be made. We feel more strongly that the future is in front of us, and the question of how this may be viewed, predicted, controlled and defined becomes more pertinent.

Astrology does not necessarily align with this timer as it studies celestial bodies that are in constant motion, represent energy, the way it is expressed, and how this may correlate with terrestrial events and human behavior. Astrology is more closely aligned with the changes of the seasons, the Solstices and Equinox points. A marked change of temperament and the way life is organized and lived, is certainly more evident at the start of every season.

Therefore, the end of each calendar year holds as much of its own unique significance as any other date in time, in the same way that each birth or beginning captures something potentially unique. Through this perspective, nothing really ends, yet something new is born that carries potential and evolves over time. Every moment in time is telling a story about a potentiality. If we truly feel the significance of this, then every moment we potentially have the power to change something, it can be as small as our mood, and as big as a radical change in our mindset, relationships, vocation or lifestyle. What is required for this to feel meaningful, is being present, heart, mind, body and soul.

What does the future hold? Time travel…
This New Moon cycle in Sagittarius seems to be prophetic, or trigger memories from the past. Something repeats. Do not postpone matters that are serious or urgent, they could get worse. However, do not move so fast with decisions due to pessimism, overwhelming emotions, prolonged delays, and obstacles or just because you need to do something without knowing what that is. Visions, strategies, and expectations around those (personal, financial, or other) are not yet clear, or need further refinement, but they can be interesting, inspiring, and take us into new directions. Expressing emotions and sharing is favored with those who are close and personal or those who we share memories with and common interests. They can be near or far.

Super Full Moon at 06 Aries 00′

September 29th, 2023

When the Sun sets and the Moon rises, life becomes more ‘interesting’.

The last Super Moon of this Year is in the sign of Aries, just a few days after the Fall Equinox. A trigger for the upcoming Solar Eclipse in October 14th, and starts manifesting and accelarating changes we have set in motion since the Spring Solar Eclipse on April 20th. These changes will begin to stabilise and get into some form in the first couple of months of 2024. The spirit of creation and passion is seeking and activating new ground in the prime areas of our lives, mainly relationships, levels of sharing, contracts, and our need to reconcile situations, find remedial solutions or promote some creative plan, that will assist in unlocking a different way of living or connecting with the world. The me vs us factor comes into play. It is a Full Moon that seeks to balance a new way of responding to situations, relating to ourselves and others, and with a dynamic focus in the hearth, the ‘home’, our base, past, history or homeland. Everything we feel, that keeps our sacred fire alive in our soul. Settling differences, signing a contract, an agreement, relocating, moving in together, getting into a contest, having an argument, entering into partnership, seeking counseling, fighting for justice or presenting our work to others may seem like completely different things, but they do examine several levels of engagement and willingness to share, as well as responding to others. If we seek to tread on a new path with others, share more of ourselves with them, we need to make sure this comes from deep in our soul, and aligns with our inner truth. Our inner emotional stability and focus will determine the level of creativity and healthy expression in our exchange and interaction with others. Entering some ‘territory’ requires a kind of releasing, letting go of the past, giving our energy selflessly, or bringing closure to a previous chapter of life. Adjustments, formalities, or a kind of clearance and examining process of what we need to keep and what we need to discard. Becoming engaged with helping, being of service, and applying skills can be uplifting. We can do good for others, share more, while we also care for our own well being. Additional research or further inquiry maybe required, for plans to be completed, or major decisions to move forward. Complications as well as external pressure or competition, can hinder or delay matters, plans or goals. This may be necessary. Financial aspects as well as details and facts need attention. Matters may require more effort than we anticipate. This is a rather unsettling time for humanity, and we all need to invest our energy and use our power carefully, and mindfully with respect, love and sensitivity. Connecting with people we are spiritually aligned with, can work wonders for our creativity and confidence. Some latent creative talent, vision or creative opportunity may be waiting to be expressed or gradually emerge, although it might be something we do on the side, require patience or take longer to take off.

Main aspects and configurations analysed: Cardinal T-square with Vesta at the apex. Venus square Uranus, Mercury opposite Neptune, Mars triggers eclipse degree, and conjunct South Node, Mars quincunx Uranus, Jupiter in quintile aspect with Saturn.

New Moon at 23 Leo 17′

16.08.2023

Our world is fragile. This Lunar cycle reminds us of the conflicting or irreconcilable aspects of life and ourselves. Leo is about the need to find our authentic way of expressing ourselves, of being heroic, of creating, of being, and of giving love, while working, assisting or engaging with others.

The New Moon aligns with the Sun-Uranus cycle in its opening square phase. Creativity freedom, altruism, revolutionary spirit and reforms are being awakened. What doesn’t work, what needs to be fixed? It brings a sense of liberation and encourages us to question and innovate. This Sun – Uranus cycle started on May 9, 2023, at 19 Taurus. Does this date remind you of some new intention? Security, sustenance, resources, values, talents and a need to innovate, contribute and make reforms. It’s a time for awakening and revisiting those intentions, making quick decisions, and embracing our authentic selves in creating and stabilising life. Venus in retrograde motion and as a morning star manifests her fighting spirit and passion, yet also sensitivity to re-gaining self worth, resources, talents and reviving values and love, in connection to the past, reviewing and pushing forward. It points to expressing our values closer to our hearts in a more dynamic way. Also, to re-examine the roles we have played in our life and our relationships, and how we felt. This new Moon cycle invites us to reevaluate our very own sense of self and innovate, while creating space to make positive practical changes.

Our approach and goals should align with our values and allow space for love. Understanding ourselves and what we want helps us make better choices and build meaningful relationships. It’s important to practice self-love and be prepared for decisions that may require some sacrifices and stepping out of our comfort zone. We should be open to different paths and adapt to each situation in order to find the right support and improve our overall relationship with life.

Mercury at 00 Leo squaring the Nodes of the Moon at 00 Taurus/00 Scorpio

July 11th, 2023

A new perspective on our evolution path. Seeds for innovative ideas, a fresh new way of thinking, connecting and communicating. A territory of exploration. Ideas that build something new, how to innovate and be creative with your skills or learning and authentic way of thinking. An aha moment which may change our direction. (This day may alter your perspective on things, if you have planets or points at 00 degrees of fixed signs). This may take you on a long term journey, along with others. The sign of Scorpio reveals, brings focus and depth, ideal for research, the sign of Leo is authentic, creative, and heroic, the sign of Taurus is practical, fertile and gives form to things. It has to do with our values and voice. Time to think, use our skills for something greater, and finding our very own authentic voice.

How to be firm and consistent under pressure, but also a little flexible.

A Fixed T-square with Jupiter on the apex

May 16th to June 6th, 2023

As the planets change signs, we also change territory and field of expression. This requires new skills. Something new is set in place.

Can we sustain promises and see them through? How does passion, ethusiasm and drive in expressing our values, affect our social interaction, ties and relationships? Is it contageous or does it drive others away? Is this a time to negotiate the resolution of a conflict or set a new plan in place? Does a third party assist in reaching a compromise/aggreement or is it a distracting influence? There is an emphasis on values surrounding all those questions, and a need to pay attention to details. The need to ground and give form to our own perspective or beliefs on things, while we encounter challenges or pressures. The need to support self worth in the face of opposing views and draw our own conclusions. There is certainly urgency and intensity all around us. This is what the planetary energies speak about from May 16th until the first week of June. All planetary positions from 25 degrees of Cardinal signs to 06 degrees of Fixed signs will be affected. It seems that there is a step forward in puting some vision or plan in place is beeing promoted, and there is pressure involved. It could be financial, political or some personal affair. Fixed signs have a lot to do with right and wrong, moral dilemmas, ethics, good and bad, credibility. Watch the political developments for this, and our personal lives. There is a concentration of energy in Taurus which has to do with ownership and possesions (money and right to access resources, also data securiy -Mercury just turned direct in this sign), and opinions. Cardinal signs are more concerned with stimulating action, pushing buttons and adventure, the plot. Planets in the last degrees of cardinal signs are pushing situations almost too hard, or with a sense of urgency to complete something, (the lunar cycle is nearing its end). This is Mars, Jupiter and Venus applying pressure or exercising effort with an urgency in responing to situations,as they pass the final degrees of Cancer and Aries (what is happening in the domestic scene?and internal affairs) Saturn is in Pisces, and this position requires flexibility towards commitment and perhaps a need to tend to details or confusing situations, with setting boundaries. Also overcome through empathy or blending spiritual with material value. Saturn in Pisces can also manifest as sensitivity in the way we contribute or help, the sacrifices made or around mindset and beliefs. It may also manifest as difficulty in letting go or have faith in the larger sheme of things.

Mars ingress into Leo on the 21st of May is triggering the inferior square of Jupiter-Pluto synodic cycle which started in 2020 at 24 degrees Capricorn (new plan). What happened then, and then what happened on May 4th of 2022 (the crescent phase of the cycle). Mars also forms and opening square with Jupiter (another cycle that started on May 29 of 2022 at 04 Aries which is more about action, and new beginnings – something was set in motion). Mars forms an opposition to Pluto, an opposition to ‘a plan’ that started on those dates, or an effort to put a stance, or see it culminate and figure out how it can continue, thus promote another next step towards change. This is Fire/Leo so it may just be about being heroic and wanting to attract attention with authenticity. or reaching a climax and deciding that enough is enough, or taking up a challenge to build strength and fortify a situation. This configuration can consume one with passion and enthusiasm, it can trigger activism, fanatiscism (religious or other) or stubborness and resistance. The need to promote one’s sphere of influence. A relationship, contract or conflict (opposition) that has a vision to increase value. Watch what is happening in the banking system, finances, political conflicts, social platforms, groups, alliances (Aquarius), and taxes. Also relationships to other people, and pressure from the group. How does that sensitise our sense of contribution. The idea is to be passionate, exercise assertiveness, or healthy anger (which may bring clarity) but not be blinded by zeal and stubborness. Mars can be very productive when having something creative to do, and very destructive if it can’t find something to do, is frustrated or oppressed. This is a big shift of energy, and the Fixed T-square means that Jupiter will work in overdrive in order to resolve an opposition, or expand its effects. The missing leg is Scorpio, shared resources, or shared values. Something needs to change, and we need to focus this very powerful energy in positive things and interests. Our values vs other people’s values, our opinions vs other peoples opinions, our possessions vs other’s possessions, creations and how we share them. It is time to show what we have to share, it is time to show strength, and not be pressured into things we do not believe in. Things will surface, as Jupiter squares Pluto. Truths, earth’s underground activity or treasures, oppressed passions or anger and volatility, things we do not whant to deal with or things that will empower and consume our energy. This can be a new beginning as it happens in the 00 degrees of fixed signs, which is nothing like we have seen before, since Pluto has not been in Aquarius since 1778. So we may see new things regarding competitions, alliances, business and financial deals, as well as ways to resolve conflicts or merge with significant groups and others. On a personal level, this a good configuration for athletes to achieve records, maybe a good time to consolidate finances, set new things in place professionally for others to see, or expand some new activity within your current one. Risk in investments, money matters or mergers need to be carefully consolidated as Mars position will be in Leo in this configuration, the sign that Venus will Retrograde in from July 23 to Sept 4. Our world in some way is going to be shaken, startled or challenged, shifting or forcing us to enter new territory. Are we ready to explore this, are we taking a step back? Something new is being created and born which can require time to show growth but it certainly opens up some new perspective, which requires one to identify with acting authentically on some new field of knowledge, a group or some passion. The opposition brings awareness and the square is tension and push for growth. If there is something to be shared, there is also something to be released.

Notes on the Hybrid Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees 50′ Aries

Taking stock of a maturation cycle of experience. Are we ready for the next step?

This Solar Eclipse occured on April 20, 2023. Eclipses bring new information to our attention, escalate situations and accelerate events. The blocking of sunlight in the phenomenon of the eclipse disrupts the celestial order or flow of life, and thus it marks a period where we are pulled or pushed towards more dynamic changes collectively, and the life plan may take a different turn than anticipated. The Moon blocks the light of the sun from the geocentric perspective, so we are viewing the moon’s dark side (symbolically things we were not aware of come to the surface – subconscious forces come to the surface-the need to respond to urgent or pressing situations may feel intense and bring unrest to the environment or habitual zones). Eclipses also reveal people’s characters. This is a North Node Solar eclipse so it is about treading unchartered territory which may feel uncomfortable, yet it promotes growth, and requires overcoming, healing or resolving – a radical change (the past, fears, shadow feelings, crisis, loss, shame, group pressure, the idea of losing control or not having control over events). We can view this as an empowering or disempowering experience, as the square to Pluto the planet of transformation indicates. We are becoming aware of how with our coping mechanisms we tend to control or organise the environment in a way that may keep others at a distance, or alternatively empower or assist them. How power and leadership is handled is a matter to be redefined throughout this eclipse long term influence that maybe opening a new chapter of life.

The final degree of Aries (a critical degree), is very much emphasising a sense of urgency, an ending of a cycle of maturation of a state of existence, of independence, of a state of being or identity, of leadership or pioneering spirit, of desire and motivation, of efforts, achievement, strife, and/or investment of energy. Also of reckless behaviour or risk-taking. The Luminaries are parallel in declination to Saturn-so a reality check, conscious reflection of one’s limitations, commitments, boundaries, hard work, and also reward that may come with more responsibility are part of the theme. Formalities may also be present in the theme of the eclipse. It brings closure to things of the past, – a death and rebirth process (Pluto), may have a sense of fatedness to it, while the efforts of the phase of stabilisation will follow and may take a slower time to take shape, dealing primarily with the need to be consistent and focused, a tendency to be ‘blinded’ by enthusiasm, passion or excessive zeal, an emphasis on moral issues and dilemmas of right vs wrong, black and white scenarios of course of action or stance, (Fixed T-square apex Jupiter in early degrees of signs, active in May). As Jupiter will be crossing the eclipse degree May 13-16, more will be revealed.

Assistance and guidance from experienced, or older people can strengthen the way forward or we may find that joint efforts or ties of the past can seem supporting at this period of time (Saturn in sextile and trine to Nodes).

Information access and security, the practicality of solutions, connections and price of trade and agreements, what is of value, the verbal and written word and how it is being appreciated, alternate ways and approaches towards unions,  will be re-examined and re-assessed, promoting a different and more experimental kind of sharing and level of discussion (Mercury Rx in Taurus in mutual reception to Venus in Gemini Out of Bounds ).

As we are called on to reflect on this ‘ending’ cycle of experience, it is a useful time to evaluate in retrospect our personal and collective initiatives and achievements or failure to take timely action. To check if there is a way to do, to get motivated or re-act to situations in a different way, in order to overcome, teach or heal. (Mars in square to Chiron). It is like finding oneself off the trodden path and simultaneously having to deal with memories of the past, and thus feeling or being exposed to some kind of vulnerability, an alternative way of being or seeing oneself, or affirming self interests. There is a lot of wisdom to be gained in this position if one is willing deal with situations, treat events or connections with people intuitively, rather than aggressively or assertively.

The question that is most potent at this time is: are we ready for the next step?

(Check the house in your natal chart where 29 Aries is placed to understand more about the area of life where this theme of ‘ending’ cycle of experience takes place. The Eclipse theme will likely have more of a personal feel for you if you have any planet at 29 cardinal or 00 of fixed signs (+/-1).

This Solar Eclipse belongs to the Saros 129, and the most recent previous eclipses of this cycle occurred in the years 1969, 1987, 2005 – check for evolutionary themes of those years to unlock further messages.

Check these dates for triggers of the eclipse theme:

March 16, 2023 – Venus at 29 degrees Aries

April 20, 2023 – Hybrid Solar Eclipse

May 13-22, 2023 – Jupiter at 29 degree Aries, 00 Taurus, Mars at 29 Cancer-00 Leo

July 18-28, 2023 – North Node of the Moon at 29 Aries squaring Pluto at 29 Capricorn

PS. Sometimes it is startling how eclipses are literally blocking you from doing something. And this something does not necessarily need to always be dramatic. My computer crashed, so I had various tech problems the past few days and trying to fix things, and could not write as I intended to – Mercury is also retrograde so here I am writing in retrospect.

Saturn in Pisces

March 8, 2023 – May 25, 2025, September 2, 2025 – February 14, 2026

Saturn’s transit from the sign of Aquarius to the sign of Pisces marks a shift from social distancing to spiritual distancing. Saturn enters the realm of Jupiter and Neptune. It is our faith, ethos, religions, truths, dreams, ideals, creations, that will be put to the test in the next two and a half years. But also those that will make us work harder, and form long term commitments. Dedication to higher causes that will assist in betterment will be highlighted for many.

The water (that we drink, seas, oceans, shipping, travel by sea and problems and new rules, management or trade agreements in those) will be a big theme of this transit. As well as, large organisations (global and national), charity, social welfare, non-profit, medical and hospital care, social welfare, prisons, institutions, places of worship-are they effective, or are they showing signs of decay?

This is a period that may feel more difficult to go with the flow, to trust our intuition, or have faith in the things we can’t control. This is exactly the lesson, to practice more empathy and trust in the inner worlds or the divine plan.

Time to organise our lives in a creative way, form commitments through our values and the things we believe in. Relationships and unions can be binding on the basis sacrifice or assistance, inspiration, creativity, higher causes, spirituality or mutual beliefs and explorations. They will also be tested or negotiate boundaries around those areas. Pisces is the exaltation of Venus. Wihdrawal for the sake of research, creation or healing can be of benefit.

Saturn’s most recent transit in the sign of Pisces was May 22 – June 30, 1993, January 29 1993 – April 7, 1996.
