Jupiter Stations Retrograde today until August 11.

It will return to the same degree on November 6th 2019. During the Retrograde period it’s time to expand inner vision, and gain experience and wisdom from more esoteric processing. Mind travels and soul searching can be very prosperous at this time. It’s the inner truth that carries more weight, and can support growth and spiritual development. Any project or goal that has been activated from January until now, needs to be re- judged and re-confirm or even shift its purpose and mission in light of new information, gained experience or understanding. It’s time to find our guru within and ask the big questions. A time to regain inner faith, review our understanding, ethos and opinions, or process how our social environment resonates with our dogma, knowledge and sense of justice. Does this goal or that goal serve our inner fulfilment or advancement? In the sign of Sagittarius this process has the capacity to expand our spiritual cognition, show us new directions, present opportunities to fine tune our inner moral compass while it helps us gain inner perspective of which beliefs are really worth fighting or aiming for. We can feel we can cross boundaries in our understanding of things and expand our inner dialogue by pondering on what significance our experiences have in sharing viewpoints with others.

As Jupiter Stations, it is opposite the Moon in Gemini and squaring Mercury in Pisces forming a Mutable T-square configuration. The need to share opinions, beliefs and ideology, even speak about ethos, personally or collectively is heightened. How does this reflect in other’s responses, how has it affected our sense of belonging, did we feel a strong need to speak about things that really matter?  As we voiced opinions and shared them with others in the past few days, we may have noticed a tension between “what I mean and what I say” and a kind of discourse taking place that needs refining. Questions revolve around what is meaningful. There is an opportunity now to reflect on the rights and wrongs, or perhaps think about how our ‘truths’ and idealism need some adjusting or present tensions that need some sort of resolution when we are casually engaging in dialogue. More wisdom is to be gained from this process.

It is certainly a time to tune into the things that  we believe in, on a spiritual level but also get a heightened awareness or reflect on revelations on what others think. We may ponder on a quest to promote ideas and knowledge and become aware that we need to do some some shifting, and some appropriations. Whatever the mission it has variety, flexibility and can take one to new territories.  During the Retrograde period, create space for this to happen, flourish, and return to the knowledge that was previously gathered to lay better plans that will carry yourself or a project further and support its betterment. Share more openly and honestly, and refrain from dogmatism as it may get blown a little out of proportion. At times being hospitable to other’s point of view may have an educational effect to our understanding. If you have planets @ 23-24 Sagittarius this may be a very revealing time for you, manifesting through challenges in your understanding and philosophy of life.

Beginnings toward new directions, managing challenges and accepting responsibility.

The New Moon cycle that begins today is in the interval between January and July’s Eclipses, thus we find ourselves at this very point when eclipse seeds have matured and beginnings as well as dynamic forward action are going to manifest. It is the month that creates the necessary tension to take initiative, manage crises, and overcome obstacles while reminding us that we must eliminate fears and release all  “excess weight”. Aries, is about immediate response and highlights the consciousness of the present moment; the here and now.

Leaving a period (Mercury retrograde in Pisces) that may have been dominated by ambiguity, elusiveness and fusion of ideas, thoughts, and data, we are entering into the phase where we need to focus on the present actively. Each period has its purpose and we still have some more time until Mercury enters Aries, to process what will ultimately emerge out of this meandering  process of re-examination which was not necessarily intended for reaching a clearly defined conclusion. It seemed more like a mind travel in seeking solutions and engaging with unresolved matter. In the previous lunar month, we may have taken something apart in order to recompose something new, or may have been lost in  bureaucratic conundrums, multiple thoughts, ideas, facts, contacts and stimuli. A kind of creative re-thinking that is not concerned in carrying out, but considers paths, transcends, develops, refines and perceives. Brexit talks may come to mind, and whatever else we engaged with on a  personal or collective level. There are plenty of examples in the news and in our personal lives that resonate with the infinite combinations that were present, while we absorbed signals, and information from all sort of directions. Learning, thinking or communicating tapped into foreign territories, and gestation seeds will potentially emerge soon, with acuity,  a sense of aliveness of spirit and cognition, to promote agreements, conclusions and new directions. Mercury will enter Aries on April 17. Until then, Mercury is gradually gaining speed, leaving its Neptunian experience and applies to a sextile with Saturn in Capricorn, which will assist in ordering things or crystallize agreements. It’s sextile with Pluto may engage the mind into specialised fields of research or handling joined finances.

Full Moon at 00 degrees and 09 ‘Libra

full moon

March 21, 2019 – 01:42 UT

How do we maintain balance when our desires or values are conflictual? How we share and how we maintain our autonomy.

Change of direction – Entering new territories. Reinforcement of ties and collective activities.

The opportunities on offer and our contracts with others.

Alienation and the bridges that unite us. The distance that we have travel to meet with others.

Collective sphere: The emergence of new and alternative ways of expressing leadership and how they reflect on the sense of fairness and equality of the collective mood.

The March Full Moon, which takes place a few hours after the Spring Equinox (Ingress of Sun in Aries), on the Libra/Aries axis, directs energy towards externalizing desires and reinforcing actions, making changes, and primarily focusing on balancing of relationships.

We are presented with the cosmic signal of a dynamic source of active expression where something new emerges on the horizon. The emphasis on cardinal quality, and several applying aspects (dialogues) nearing perfection, that do not include the luminaries, and above all the Venus-Mars square in fixed signs, describe an energetic and creative fortnight ahead. The manifestation of events can be expected, as well as negotiating decisions in relation to forces that have conflicting objectives, with a practical or grounding effect  (emphasis on the element of the Earth). Venus in Aquarius ruler of Libra will assist in socialising and networking or promoting goal oriented unions as is indicated by the Moon in Libra. The Air element will help things rise or let off steam depending on what one is dealing with. Venus in Aquarius will provide opportunities or assistance, through the sextile with Jupiter in Sagittarius, for new directions that seem to offer some kind of optimism and generosity, promote judicial procedures in alliances and contracts, or connect  people from afar. If time has been invested in something that has assumed a shape and form, it will find the environment to reach more exposure and grow or gain a new perspective. Creative energy is evident as well as tension, passion (erotic or other) that push action towards follow up (Mars in Taurus), through effort and potential difficulties (square) that have to do with the conflicting character of desires or values.

The zero degrees of cardinal signs highlight the World axis – Aries Point, while the zero degrees of all signs signify the point of entry, a new territory of expression, that has began unfolding since the first Full moon / Lunar Eclipse of the year on January 21 at 00 Leo / Aquarius. This particular Full Moon is therefore potent for world events and developments, the public nature of activities, and on a personal level one is affected if the 00 degrees of cardinal signs trigger planets or points in the natal chart. There seems to be a three-fold sequence of events as the Full Moons of the last three months happened at the 00 degrees of Leo / Aquarius, Virgo / Pisces axis which rounds up this process with this current one in  Libra / Aries. The Leo/Aquarius axis is very much about leadership and creative potential in relation to collective contribution and integrity; it seems like a “fresh” ground of expression has begun to emerge since January, while everyone may feel this rather differently according to the field of life (house) it activates in their chart and planets engaged. It generally negotiates the relationship of the authentic self and its integration or involvement with social group territories. This theme, with Uranus entering Taurus, assumes a drastic and reformist attitude in the way talents and skills are expressed and assume a form, but also a general need to change how we attract things in our lives. With the following Full Moon on the Virgo / Pisces axis last February, there was an emphasis on adaptation, utilisation and implementation of these intentions and plans, and finally in this current Full Moon we are getting a glimpse of a more  dynamic and energetic manifestation through sharing or mediating processes. All kinds of relationships in our lives are called upon to negotiate meeting points, to resolve discord and conflicting desires, to cover distances and to engage in balancing acts.

A change of environment is indicated and this marks a new era or chapter that begins, that assumes a new social filter. Changes are always a product of an internal process. In trying to manage or deal with life, we often perceive change as something that comes from the outside and happens to us. Many times we feel we have no choice, and it may be so. But we always have a choice in the way we focus and manage what is happening to us, and it is in the effort to make something  “our own”, to reconcile with it, that we become conscious of the conflict and we change from within. What this Full Moon emphasises and is of essence is, there is a change of expression and attitude in the way we share ourselves with others. In the way we share. Continue reading

New Moon at 15 degrees Pisces 47’

March 6, 2019, 16:03 UT

Between two worlds, through curious synchronicities, we find opportunities to develop our perception, seek alternate routes, and manage solutions. Reflections and memories from the universe. The world of spirit, promise, creation and imagination, and the world of matter. Where do they meet? What we wish for and the sensitivity to life itself. The need to turn our attention, but also to return to a broader understanding of things. Revelations. How can we help or inspire others through our beliefs and values.

This New Moon is about how we help, our faith and our ideals. It is time to respond to everything that inspires us, to become aware of our sensitivities and vulnerabilities in life, and to explore the great picture. It is about the glamour and the illusion of things, as well as an opportunity to set boundaries and seek clarity to all that escapes us. To give space to the creative and spiritual content of our lives and to commit ourselves to our dreams. Through this process we may find companions and assistance in our efforts.

A lunar cycle that will help us to clarify many things, to communicate about what we believe and moves us, to create fascinating connections between things, to return to issues and people from the past to find solutions that are sustainable, to engage in what we are interested in, and ponder on concepts and the big picture. It may sound like an oxymoron to find clarification when Neptune is present, yet this may be of a different kind. We may be using this lunar month to gradually emerge from the depths of intellectual or psychological uncertainty of the past, and permeate into new fields and environments, re-connect through an explorative spirit in our cognitive quests.

The stand outs in the New Moon chart, are the luminaries in conjunction with Neptune, Mercury Station Rx in the last degree of Pisces (in its sign of exile and fall) conjunct fixed star Scheat, and Uranus at zero Taurus. This may describe fantasy land, or a nebulous landscape that may prove difficult to process mentally, or in order to do so, it can not necessarily rely on common consensus logic. Thinking patterns may tackle other than usual tasks or matters. We may see a need to combine different factors, and may need to use our intuition or sensibilities to do so. Empathy and insight may be part of the equation. It speaks of the need to find peace, to devote ourselves to something, to make sense of data noise, to become more aware about the side effects of toxicity, addictions, prescribed medication, or seek outlets to voice and share all these thoughts and experiences that were either exhilarating or devastating. Neptune either glamorises or sensitises. We may be using our imagination, synthesis capacity or engage in spiritual matters. The sensitivities and sensibilities are heightened  (physical-mental-emotional) and susceptibility to environmental issues and influences may be considered the central theme of this lunation cycle through the oceanic realm of Neptune. Fixed star Scheat has some very negative and some positive connotations. It relates to sorrows, but also the creativity of the mind and the challenges of logic, the intellect and its blessings. In combination with Mercury, this is emphasised so all Mercurial matters will be affected. B. Brady, mentions “independent thought, the need to break the conventional processes of mind or philosophy and says that Scheat represents the essence of intellect”1. V. Robson, speaks of accidents, the relationship with water, trouble through writing2. The last degrees of signs are critical, 29 Pisces is in Saturn’s terms, and this also may emphasise the crystallisation of ideas, thoughts or mental work that is completed, is focused in a limited territory, or a mental process, speaking or writing dealing with something critical. This may be more visible or assume a more public character. We may see this feature prominently in communications, the news and media. We may see people sharing their personal crises or disseminate critical information especially about the past. Mercury’s Retrograde motion indicates potentiality for misunderstandings, delays and reversals, yet it may also indicate a return to the past in order to re-thing a situation, gain new insight and understanding. Revisiting old matters is always a theme with Mercury Rx and it can be very positive too. Continue reading

Full Moon at 00 Virgo 42’

February 19, 2019 – 15:53 UT (Super Moon)

Unlocking the authenticity of our skills in collective life, and clarifying their reflection through others.

Adjustments, refinement, discernment and the theme of purification in our lives.

Intuitive growth and inspiration help us to crystallise conclusions pursuing accuracy at the culmination of a cycle of “harvest”. Sense and sensibility assist in reconciling the relationship between our capacity to discriminate and to have faith.

An especially potent full moon for humanity expressing an awakening, and a reformist attitude towards improvement of life, and the relationship between assistance, service and sacrifice. How does solving collective problems call for alternative approaches and who on a leadership level chooses to act with solidarity fostering earthly and common good.

The beginning of the lunar cycle on February 4, in the sign of Aquarius has highlighted new intentions in relation to our aspirations and our relationship with collective contribution. The climax of the full moon cycle on Virgo / Pisces axis gives us the opportunity to work and shape the way we provide in our  lives and to carry out a consolidation through reforms aiming at a more essential but also healthy relationship with ourselves. This axis has to do with healing, perfecting and consciousness that is triggered by the practical application of what we think, discern and finally believe in, shaping the system of our ideals and perceptions. It is through the usefulness of things that we become conscious of our beliefs and ideals. Issues that concern our work, being of service, and how we attend, care and provide for, are coming to light with this Full Moon. We need to reconcile them with the notion of sacrifice, empathy,  and idealism.  Virgo expresses the improvement and usefulness of things, and the Moon in Virgo intuits, responds and collects with sensibility and accuracy stimuli and messages, analyzing and promoting a distillation process.  A symbiosis of potential to resolve problems with a meticulous focus on perfecting, scrutinising and becoming sensitive to nuances. The luminaries make harmonious applying aspects with Mars at 3 degrees Taurus (the highest exaltation of the Moon) and we are given the opportunity to promote our desires, energy and talents and implement them with some material, practical or physical benefit. We can gain clarity on things we have assimilated, either material or spiritual, and discern how they may help or prove useful to others. We may even explain the relationship between provision and contribution in a new territory with a higher purity of expression. We observe that all three Full Moons from January to March 2019 are occurring at zero degrees of the Leo / Aquarius, Virgo / Pisces, Libra / Aries axes. We are dealing with a fresh energy that states a new and very pure form of expression, a new field of activity that calls for balancing acts, decisions, and reconciliations and perhaps more practice. Anything new springs from the reflection of a creative /authentic oriented source and its relation to the collective sphere (January Lunar eclipse in Leo). In this current Full Moon, we begin to clarify how we become functional and useful, exploring the flow of our inspiration, perception and ideals in a practical way. An appraisal of our harvest from something we have expressed begins to show prime results, or we perceive problems that seek clarification through practical procedures. Continue reading

Total Lunar Eclipse at 00 Leo 51′

21 January 2019 – 5:12 UT

(total duration of phenomenon 5 hours)

Change of attitude towards self and collective contribution.

A step in a new field of activity and personal expression.

Expressing creativity and talents

Love, creations and emotional stimulation

Love – Friendship / Giving and receiving love

January is definitely an active month with two Eclipses that sets the stage for important beginnings for the next four months with major developments unfolding  during the whole of 2019. A Lunar Eclipse is a highly charged Full Moon that either helps us to “end” with something or triggers a significant transition. This particular one, signifies a first step to externalise and stabilise something that concerns us, and stems from our “core”. It could be read as an evolutionary step in a new direction, the basic intention to consolidate a situation, to give a particular goal, or project a formal or public attribute. It also shows us a more complete picture of a previous situation that originates either at the beginning of the lunar month (January 6,2019) or has an evolutionary message that can be traced in the previous eclipse of this Saros cycle which occurred on January 9, 2001 (Saros 134).

Themes of the Full Moon:

We are attuned  personally and collectively, to self-expression, passion, loyalty, pleasure, and issues which touch our core being, or “affairs of the heart”. Receiving validity and attention is a theme that the  Leo / Aquarius axis highlights, which reflects the very relationship of an individual with love, talent and creation, and the way it engages or integrates within a wider collective experience. The need to be out there, is reflecting the Sun’s light in the sign of Aquarius that symbolizes the origin of this need, and primarily has to do with the intellect and commitment  to collective ideals. The Sun in a sign with a social aptness, promises a phase of social engagement that has a kind of formality or structure (Saturn -the traditional ruler of Aquarius), or a liberating effect (Uranus the modern ruler of Aquarius). It is like entering a public stage for a purpose. Expressing our “heroic”, self-expressive, and creative side are part of the agenda, plus issues we believe in, hope for, and involve those friends, groups of people, social context, or like-minded affiliations that confirm “contribution”.

In a Lunar eclipse, the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, and it obscures the visibility of the Moon from our vintage point. Astronomy speaks both literally and metaphorically: The symbolic interpretation is that events (on the terrestrial field) become prominent and engage with the energies of the Luminaries that “intent” to exchange “data.”. Earthly concerns, activities, or attachments somehow disrupt or manifest into something through charging and tension. We witness earth’s reflection/shadow on the Moon. We are given an impetus to accelerate processes, gain consciousness of a particular matter or change our response  and attitude in a certain area of life.

The Moon in Leo says I need to be happy, to create, to live, to fall in love, to be excited, to play, to assume a role, and I have difficulty in responding to what I do not like. It also dramatizes, opens the heart and strengthens emotional generosity, and heroism. It is a touchy Moon with a high sense of pride. So all those things  describe our collective vibration. We are going to respond more intensely to anything that affects our pride and dignity, anything that we feel passionate about, feels expressive and exciting. In the element of fire and the fixed modality, the Moon responds with warmth and loyalty towards life. The “shadow” acts as a charging mechanism or as a means to “remove” the elements that prevent this need from being fulfilled. The first degrees of signs signify a new activity, a new way of expression activated by the above themes, which is mobilized through Sun, and in turn objectified by Saturn and Uranus (rulers of  Aquarius). We develop a new attitude towards some existing structure. Continue reading
