Becoming aware that we are led to changes that will further stabilise our lives and help our relationships find another meaning. Leaving emotional baggage behind.

Completion and release from critical issues. Urgent decisions and agreements. The end of compromise.

The April Full Moon is the second in a row this year on the Libra/Aries axis, and closes a chapter negotiating experience on balancing what we share and how we maintain our autonomy. This may involve relationships, marriage, alliances, contracts, partnerships and agreements of all kinds. Even the relationship to ourselves. We strive to find balance in what we keep for us, where we must reconcile and how we ultimately share ourselves.

We may have become more conscious of this process, and more energised in trying to find middle ground in this polarity, since March 21 (Full Moon at zero degrees Libra / Aries), as we also felt momentum for new beginnings with some difficulties and tension with the beginning of the current lunar cycle on April 5, in the sign of Aries. The issues that the culmination of this cycle at the critical last degree of Libra / Aries highlight, relate to agreements and contracts we have with others and are definitively brought into closure or conclusion in the next two weeks. This stems from a much deeper process which stirred the urge for change that promotes our freedom and autonomy. This may have been felt more intensely or activated  from April 28 until May 15, 2018, and then from February 6 to March 5, 2019 that Uranus was at 29 degrees Aries. The urgent need to take initiative and be more associated with our individuality and creative desire or very pressing issues that had reached a climax have prompted us to move into drastic moves of dissociation or disengagement from relationships or associations. This was about the need for freedom of expression, autonomy and renewal. That urgent inner unrest may have been reflected in our external world. The Full Moon thus illuminates the closing of a major life chapter that leads us to very important changes in the future. The experience we have gathered during Uranus’s transit in Aries (2010-2019), which marked the awakening of our freedom, a revolution, new beginnings, and a need to radically change direction in an area of ​​life (see the house that Aries occupies in your natal chart, the house that Uranus is placed, but also the house that it rules natally for more information) prompted our Martian nature, has come to an end. Now we are pushed to move on to the next stage of shaping, stabilising, and attracting things, always through innovation and change. Relationships within this time frame of our life have been more focused on the need to promote innovation, overcome obstacles with others, beginning something exciting, joining forces against pressure and the spirit of our times. We were united through our desires, the search for a new path, the willingness to find comrades for a common purpose, or to experience our creativity passionately. Now this process has accomplished its purpose. The Full Moon therefore says: if you have gained experience of what it’s like to fight for what you want, check whether you also have finally reached your limit with compromise  and keeping balances in order to sustain contracts that are no longer useful or create more and more obligations, limitation, fears and difficulties. Everything is related to the past, and the consequences of actions that now clarify their true essence. Our relationship with some people and things is ending or enters a new phase of expression, and this requires letting go of all kinds of “baggage” and established mode of operation. Perhaps what we have built is part of our history, whether it is commitments or possessions. How do we maintain balance when our desires or values ​​are conflictual? How we share and how we maintain our autonomy.

Change of direction – Entering new territories. Reinforcement of ties and collective activities.

The opportunities on offer and our contracts with others.

Alienation and the bridges that unite us. The distance that we have travel to meet with others.

Collective sphere: The emergence of new and alternative ways of expressing leadership and how they reflect on the sense of fairness and equality of the collective mood.

The March Full Moon, which takes place a few hours after the Spring Equinox (Ingress of Sun in Aries), on the Libra/Aries axis, directs energy towards externalizing desires and reinforcing actions, making changes, and primarily focusing on balancing of relationships.

We are presented with the cosmic signal of a dynamic source of active expression where something new emerges on the horizon. The emphasis on cardinal quality, and several applying aspects (dialogues) nearing perfection, that do not include the luminaries, and above all the Venus-Mars square in fixed signs, describe an energetic and creative fortnight ahead. The manifestation of events can be expected, as well as negotiating decisions in relation to forces that have conflicting objectives, with a practical or grounding effect  (emphasis on the element of the Earth). Venus in Aquarius ruler of Libra will assist in socialising and networking or promoting goal oriented unions as is indicated by the Moon in Libra. The Air element will help things rise or let off steam depending on what one is dealing with. Venus in Aquarius will provide opportunities or assistance, through the sextile with Jupiter in Sagittarius, for new directions that seem to offer some kind of optimism and generosity, promote judicial procedures in alliances and contracts, or connect  people from afar. If time has been invested in something that has assumed a shape and form, it will find the environment to reach more exposure and grow or gain a new perspective. Creative energy is evident as well as tension, passion (erotic or other) that push action towards follow up (Mars in Taurus), through effort and potential difficulties (square) that have to do with the conflicting character of desires or values.

The zero degrees of cardinal signs highlight the World axis – Aries Point, while the zero degrees of all signs signify the point of entry, a new territory of expression, that has began unfolding since the first Full moon / Lunar Eclipse of the year on January 21 at 00 Leo / Aquarius. This particular Full Moon is therefore potent for world events and developments, the public nature of activities, and on a personal level one is affected if the 00 degrees of cardinal signs trigger planets or points in the natal chart. There seems to be a three-fold sequence of events as the Full Moons of the last three months happened at the 00 degrees of Leo / Aquarius, Virgo / Pisces axis which rounds up this process with this current one in  Libra / Aries. The Leo/Aquarius axis is very much about leadership and creative potential in relation to collective contribution and integrity; it seems like a “fresh” ground of expression has begun to emerge since January, while everyone may feel this rather differently according to the field of life (house) it activates in their chart and planets engaged. It generally negotiates the relationship of the authentic self and its integration or involvement with social group territories. This theme, with Uranus entering Taurus, assumes a drastic and reformist attitude in the way talents and skills are expressed and assume a form, but also a general need to change how we attract things in our lives. With the following Full Moon on the Virgo / Pisces axis last February, there was an emphasis on adaptation, utilisation and implementation of these intentions and plans, and finally in this current Full Moon we are getting a glimpse of a more  dynamic and energetic manifestation through sharing or mediating processes. All kinds of relationships in our lives are called upon to negotiate meeting points, to resolve discord and conflicting desires, to cover distances and to engage in balancing acts.

A change of environment is indicated and this marks a new era or chapter that begins, that assumes a new social filter. Changes are always a product of an internal process. In trying to manage or deal with life, we often perceive change as something that comes from the outside and happens to us. Many times we feel we have no choice, and it may be so. But we always have a choice in the way we focus and manage what is happening to us, and it is in the effort to make something  “our own”, to reconcile with it, that we become conscious of the conflict and we change from within. Unlocking the authenticity of our skills in collective life, and clarifying their reflection through others.

Adjustments, refinement, discernment and the theme of purification in our lives.

Intuitive growth and inspiration help us to crystallise conclusions pursuing accuracy at the culmination of a cycle of “harvest”. Sense and sensibility assist in reconciling the relationship between our capacity to discriminate and to have faith.

An especially potent full moon for humanity expressing an awakening, and a reformist attitude towards improvement of life, and the relationship between assistance, service and sacrifice. How does solving collective problems call for alternative approaches and who on a leadership level chooses to act with solidarity fostering earthly and common good.

The beginning of the lunar cycle on February 4, in the sign of Aquarius has highlighted new intentions in relation to our aspirations and our relationship with collective contribution. The climax of the full moon cycle on Virgo / Pisces axis gives us the opportunity to work and shape the way we provide in our  lives and to carry out a consolidation through reforms aiming at a more essential but also healthy relationship with ourselves. This axis has to do with healing, perfecting and consciousness that is triggered by the practical application of what we think, discern and finally believe in, shaping the system of our ideals and perceptions. It is through the usefulness of things that we become conscious of our beliefs and ideals. Issues that concern our work, being of service, and how we attend, care and provide for, are coming to light with this Full Moon. We need to reconcile them with the notion of sacrifice, empathy,  and idealism.  Virgo expresses the improvement and usefulness of things, and the Moon in Virgo intuits, responds and collects with sensibility and accuracy stimuli and messages, analyzing and promoting a distillation process.  A symbiosis of potential to resolve problems with a meticulous focus on perfecting, scrutinising and becoming sensitive to nuances. The luminaries make harmonious applying aspects with Mars at 3 degrees Taurus (the highest exaltation of the Moon) and we are given the opportunity to promote our desires, energy and talents and implement them with some material, practical or physical benefit. We can gain clarity on things we have assimilated, either material or spiritual, and discern how they may help or prove useful to others. We may even explain the relationship between provision and contribution in a new territory with a higher purity of expression. We observe that all three Full Moons from January to March 2019 are occurring at zero degrees of the Leo / Aquarius, Virgo / Pisces, Libra / Aries axes. We are dealing with a fresh energy that states a new and very pure form of expression, a new field of activity that calls for balancing acts, decisions, and reconciliations and perhaps more practice. Anything new springs from the reflection of a creative /authentic oriented source and its relation to the collective sphere (January Lunar eclipse in Leo). In this current Full Moon, we begin to clarify how we become functional and useful, exploring the flow of our inspiration, perception and ideals in a practical way. The intention to clarify truths and the overall picture of things, illuminates communication but also brings new information to light.What we say and how we explain it. Connecting the dots.

The Full Moon in Gemini / Sagittarius axis highlights issues of communication and beliefs. It is the axis of perception and thus activates the processes of rationalization and comprehension. We can expect a period, of increased mental activity, mobility, that requires multi-tasking and handling information.Flexibility, response to stimuli, and communication, dominate and through the Full Moon opposition, attempt to clarify issues that may bring about a change of orientation in our understanding of things. Jupiter is conjunct the Sun and in opposition with the Moon, and this relationship speaks of  a need to find middle ground, as we communicate, receive information and illuminate truths. The restoration of ethics, justice, ideology and values ​​ in respect to information received are dominant issues in the collective and private spheres of life. Improving our relations, seeking connections, meeting or corresponding with others in respect to what we wish to support, expand, but also broaden the scope of our experiences are highlighted too. Jupiter expands what it touches, has to do with the big questions, and therefore inflates our will, our ego (Sun), our talents, promotes our goals, choices and what matters to us. Most importantly it expands our spiritual awareness. We want to understand, we want to explain, gain knowledge and as Jupiter in Sagittarius represents that optimism and exuberance that can cross boundaries,the sense of being on a mission, a quest for truth or adventure, may take over our heart and soul. Are we ready for it? The early degrees of the signs signify something that is at an early stage of evolution, needs adaptation (mutable) and requires more practice. Jupiter is combust, and this may indicate that we are not yet ready to reveal and fully express our truths and visions, or they may not be so well understood by others. Nevertheless, the need to engage and exchange, as well as the need to promise and see growth are strong. The Moon in Gemini is illuminated by this intention and either brings others who are interested and curious along or it helps to respond in a communicative way, and establish connections by processing data that will feed into the larger view. Travel, commerce,media, publishing, learning, legal issues, visibility, knowledge, generosity and a risk-taking attitude for ventures, will energise our responses and daily life.

Is the rumour that is circulating true? What is the most accurate piece of information? How do we get to the heart of the matter? By communicating, we may also learn things that were not exactly the way we thought or perceived to be true? It may become a necessity for us to explain and communicate our views in a way that will reveal more aspects of ourselves. This may have to be repeated more than once. The important thing is to try to connect the dots, in respect to previous information that is elusive, pending or delayed.

Mars in Pisces is squaring the Luminaries and thus forms a mutable T-square. This pattern gives the necessary tension to act and take initiatives,or make a stance. Mars as the apex planet claims and strengthens the desire to put our mark, take a leap forward in our understanding, or fight for justice, and our beliefs. We may need to break some truths. This will not come easy, but indicates new beginnings in the way we express our positions and act on issues that are close to heart. Disputes and irritation, may be triggered too. Pisces sacrificial and idealistic nature expressed through Mars can either manifest like a stepping in to distract oppositions, or even cross boundaries in order to find solutions and act to support important issues.There is empathy in this position. Here we need to be careful on what we promise we can do, in overextending ourselves, and believing or reinforcing actions by taking unnecessary risks. How much we say, what we say and how we say it will ultimately determine the results of the two following weeks that have a purpose to bring closure and make adaptations on the themes that began with the New Moon in Scorpio. This cycle particularly emphasized the way we focus on things, but also how we manage issues of sharing, intimacy and resources in our relationships with others. Generally, it is a planetary picture that demands adaptations and flexibility, that may be hard or challenging and promotes the search for opportunity and solutions. With Jupiter in his domicile and Mars in a square aspect to the Full Moon, there are also disagreements on values and information management, handling family disputes or dealing with legal matters. The Sun is in triplicity, and this combined with Jupiter in its domicile is a factor of luck and good timing in decision making, while the square with Mars in Pisces can show that this may come with difficulties and challenges, to do with energy investment, or disputes in terms of evaluation, desires, ideals and beliefs (Pisces is the exaltation of Venus and a Jupiter ruled sign). It is important to believe in what we do, and this Full Moon helps us clarify more.

Mercury the ruler of Gemini is in Sagittarius and Retrograde, so it is a time when we review issues, transactions and discussions, reconsider data,but also seek better ways to manage and integrate them into our decisions. Delays and reversals or the need to re-think is prominent,as well as we don’t continuously keep expanding our view, with every new piece of information, every stimuli. Mind travels are the order of the day, or we may literally re-plan a vision, re-adjust an understanding of a situation or re-organise a trip.  Venus,Saturn and Jupiter are in their domicile signs so relationships, agreements, values​​ (and finances), seek order, their correct dimension, ethos and truth, and that is what will be critical for their longevity and sustainability. The responsibility and commitment in our exchanges have to clarify the accuracy of data. It is important to know or understand what we are claiming, and choose our battles wisely. The Full Moon illuminates how we will communicate things, but also reveals things we might not know. Venus in Libra is squaring the Nodal axis, and this is an indication that the sense of fairness in how we value things is a strong theme, while at the same time it is precisely this that can distance us from some important ties, create dilemmas or bring awareness of the distance that separates us from people we may be associated with our whole lives (Nodes in Capricorn / Cancer). The consciousness of our social identity, as well as the way we asses things within this context, is strongly activated, and it reveals multiple dimensions of opinions as well as a need to redefine ourselves in relation to our collective or social engagement and relations. Venus in Libra is in opposition to Uranus in Aries  further emphasises the need for renewal in relationships, the expression of a freedom oriented partnership and notion of love, an awakening within partnerships, and the need to change our approach or find new ways to relate. We can expect some reversals or instability in respect to agreements, or the forming of new and exciting ones.

The last aspect the Moon makes before it enters the sign of Cancer is a sextile with Uranus in Aries, an aspect of opportunity (maybe a last minute one as Uranus is at 29 Aries) to change things or do something different.

Generally, with this Full Moon, things will develop quickly (Moon is fast). Trade and connections with people we know, are particularly favoured, as well as anything that relates to the written or spoken word; the communication dimension of our goals. This will resonate better with things that have already started or belong to the past.

Information may come from all directions, and management may become challenging as it requires tolerance and adjustments. As Mercury turns direct on December 6, our transactions, negotiations and plans will begin to expand and move forward with more clarity perhaps.  This Mercury Rx period was challenging through the square with Neptune in Pisces. Messages may have been unclear, delusional or deceitful and rather paranoid depending on the source. There may have been toxicity and a certain level of paranoia involved in our communications and thoughts or just a mere need to shift and redefine our understanding by non-conclusiveness and withdrawal. Mistakes, misunderstandings, ambiguities and misconceptions that can alter conclusions or create impressions, plus lack of clarity on information that were activated during this cycle (November 8-23) will be re-activated again (on December 22-26) during the next lunar cycle. So, it may help to keep this in mind and align with the cosmic message around that time, by refraining from multi-tasking, trying to figure practical things out, engage in daydreaming, spiritual interests, or doing something creative and inspiring.

The need to find support or receive benefits can lead to hasty deals, promises and transactions, whose apparent validity will need time to finalize and perhaps take a whole new direction. Energy dispersion is possible and this can also bring fatigue and stress. We need to discern the usefulness and practicality of things (Virgo opposite the mutable T-Square).Mars also applies to a sextile with Saturn and this brings fertile opportunities to finalize actions, as well as be effective and cautious in our application of energy. This is actually the only aspect that seems to somehow ground or restrict the mutable emphasis.

The Sun in Sagittarius is about the revitalisation process of turning inward for spiritual purpose and expanding view though travel, knowledge,gaining perspective and freedom, the exploration of nature and the world. It is a placement that belongs in the social sphere. The Moon in Gemini illuminates curiosity and response to new stimuli and information gathering, from a more personal or familiar sphere. Every piece of information tends to magnify the overview and this is what marks the intensity of the culmination of this Full Moon. The need to bring things to conclusion. The need to balance data with truths, is the challenge that will be judged by the capacity to step out or step in and change the course of things. The need to find another direction, to open up a new way of understanding may demand we change our attitude towards the way we act and promote our goals. Jupiter does promise support in our actions.

The above themes call for alertness, emphasis on honesty and clarity in our communications, and will be active in the next lunar cycle too that begins on December 7. The autonomy and expansion we seek comes from our inner faith and truth, and it is a cosmic moment when we change our orientation and perceive the truth of intentions and propositions that are on offer.
