The chaos and sensibility in our li(v)es… The truths we think we possess should not become limiting in seeking more answers.

The general picture: Seeking answers may be more confusing than we think, our beliefs and trust are tested at this time, patience maybe lacking, we may feel mentally exhausted, confusing information may disorient, we may make small things seem more important than they are, while everything may reach a pressing urgency to reach some kind of conclusion. The energy is shifting…

During a Total Solar Eclipse the Solar light is blocked by the Moon. During a New Moon, the Moon is invisible while on a Solar Eclipse we see the Moon’s shadow (invisible side) on the Sun’s disc. The normal flow of light and life is interrupted, and new information is revealed. This is energy which is pushing us into a new direction rapidly, and in the sign of Sagittarius it points to a shift in our perspective, we may find ourselves in need for guidance and direction, that pertains to truths, vision, trust, sense of optimism and our beliefs of the past. Something will change, affecting all the above and we are called to turn to our inner vision, our ethics and moral codes too, as we gradually shift direction. How much we trust ourselves, and our own judgement, and how these are affected from external influences is something we should be mindful of.

The Yod is an aspect pattern that has been widely discussed as a challenging pattern, emotionally and psychologically, presenting problems that are difficult to solve. The two quincunxes involved in a Yod pattern, depending on the planets involved, are either waxing or waning, and are very different in nature: Virgo or Scorpio archetypes.

As an astrologer being interested in giving practical advice to my clients, I will examine how Yod Bearers are in constant need of something that probes the mind, or in search of an application of a skill. They may possess a special skill in solving problems, or have a capacity to “see” things that others don’t. Once they become conscious of that and apply it in a particular realm of life, it may serve as a very rewarding release of the inherent tension of the pattern. Mercury, Mars (and Pluto) would be planets to examine as hidden players, even if they do not feature in the pattern.

There is charisma and talent you possess as your authentic self becomes alive, that is worth being noticed for and others join to praise or assist you. What is it that you are passionate about, who and what do you love? Fight for who you are if necessary. Be creative and spread your love.. your heroic self becomes alive, meet others with a spirit of enthusiasm and stimulate your heart-felt communication. Barriers, rules and limitations may exist, yet they do not need to reside in your heart and mind, they can actually strengthen your actions, confidence, and self-will. It is important to know what you want. Time to show off your creativity and passion, what you are proud of, and perhaps give new life and purpose to something that needs to be completed, has been delayed, needs to be rejuvenated or belongs to the past.  ❤

In Capricorn it is all about realism, wisdom, abiding to rules and regulations, critical attitude, authority, self-mastery, being respectful, responsible, productive and committed. Saturn-Pluto: Form-time and space: a shift in our perception: positive and negative space

Through the process of subtraction, we come into contact with the concept of positive and negative space, and our relationship with space and time acquires another dimension that can change our perception of what acquires form. It is the negative space that will eventually shape form after the elimination process continues. It is the relationship with the tangible and spiritual dimension of the world that is undergoing change most intensely in our time. Let’s think about what we see each time we are deprived of something, and how we can make use of negative space. In 1915, the Danish psychologist Edgar Rubin created a series of designs that reversed two-dimensional forms. Beyond the reality of the tangible structural system that rules us with all its symbols, social imperatives and acquired values, toward the evolution of the emotional connection with the world as a living organism that is the planet, which is what actually supports the continuity of life (nature, animals, people, climate) (Cancer / Capricorn axis).

Listen to the doctors and healers, listen to the ‘healer’ within too. God Apollo looked after Chiron when he was abandoned by his father Cronus and mother nymph Phillira. He was the abandoned child. Maybe all the doctors feel like abandoned children now, maybe our capacity to heal and our wounds become more apparent. We need to pay attention to them, express them, become wiser through them, and help others because of them. Apollo taught Chiron art, music, archery, astrology, medicine. So Chiron became a wise healer, teacher, oracle who taught all heroes in ancient times, like Achilles and Hercules. His nobility and self sacrifice is reflected in his encounter with Prometheus, when he exchanged his immortality in order to save him and as a way to heal his wound. The New Moon in Aries tomorrow, is conjunct Chiron! How do we become wiser and learn from our wounds, what do we exchange in order to relieve our pain? How does this aid humanity to achieve progress? The physical wound holds a sacred spiritual message for us now.

Saturn conjunct Pluto:

“the blizzard of the world, has crossed the threshold, and it’s overturned the order of the soul”…”love’s the only engine of survival” Leonard Cohen.

It was Kronos who castrated his father and caused the birth of Aphrodite – values, creation, pleasure, love, beauty. Venus is in Aquarius, a Venus that is speaking of both its connection with Saturn and Uranus. This is an archetypal Venus in terms of reminding us its mythological origin. As Saturn meets Pluto for another round, it is pertinent to open up to the depths of our hearts and deepest desires and become conscious of our world beyond the superficial order of things. A seed moment when this order and structure intents to be transformed and experience a re-birthing, so as to aid at reinforcing ideologies, belief systems, our philosophy of life (Mars in Sagittarius 9H). Evolution is about tending to the essential roots of our beeingness, continuity of life and what constitutes our sense of belonging North Node in Cancer (4H), and the cultivation of a more authentic way of life, Moon in Leo. Chiron at 01 Aries squaring the Nodal axis and trining Mars, is speaking about alternative models of leadership, the awareness of the notion of heroes in our world, the sacred warrior principle, and the need to be courageous and bold about who we are in defence of our very own vital space, desires and spirit of creation. Our wounds and feelings of alienation, our very own sense of identity become the vehicle of healing for others, through our passions, desires and gifts. It is a time to transform structures and work on building bridges between worlds. (The cycle that began in 1982 and is now ending and restarting in 2020.)
