Time to reconcile with and speak our truths. Need for adventure and new experiences. The response to the unfamiliar. The way we reflect on the big picture through the will to communicate and connect leads to significant shifts of consciousness and generates active changes.

The Gemini/Sagittarius polarity is the axis of perception, learning, understanding, conceptualising and is related to all systems and structures that support and shape the process of responding to stimuli and developing experience, both at a mental and a material level. Themes that maybe prominent: Mobility, knowledge, education, ideology and dogma, the relationship between the familiar and the unfamiliar, legal issues, information management and communication with important others.

How much we believe or understand the stimuli and data we receive,  and how they will motivate further actions will be issues that become of concern during the next two weeks.

The Moon is near the Galactic centre, and this is an area that collectively and personally co-ordinates us with higher frequencies and information, as well as presents potentiality of a shift in our global consciousness. The need to live, envision, explore with more passion and enthusiasm but also to receive and reflect in meaningful ways, is increased and will lead us to significant shifts of interest that will become more apparent with the Summer Solstice and especially with the New Moon / Solar Eclipse in the sign of Cancer on July 2nd. All this results from the demand to learn, to connect and communicate, but also to understand more about ourselves. What ultimately makes sense to us, and what is our outlook on life? Our perception of freedom expands horizons, and the information we receive either helps us to gain confidence, or to promote a spiritual and philosophical shift. What we believe in and what ultimately makes sense, the belief system we adhere to in life, is something to explore and something that is mainly developed as an inner process, at least until Jupiter goes direct on August 11.

A Full Moon on Fire and Air signs, denotes extroversion, communication, an active approach, and a sort of negotiation through new experiences, and information either in the ideological or material spheres of life, leading to the impetus for very important and meaningful changes in areas triggered by the eclipses (Cancer / Capricorn) in our natal charts.

If feeling a bit heavy, during this Full Moon…no Air, take some moments to pause and breath. Issues of security, values vs sharing resources or intimacy maybe prominent. Is our need for intimacy,  deep sharing in relationships and joined resources, supported? Is it being fulfilled? How does this affect our level of security and self-worth?

Mars is in Cancer, representing our survival instinct, passion and desires maybe moody for a while. It is Out of Bounds, so you maybe needing to activate yourself outside the conventional context of life, act outside the box so to speak, on a day to day level. Some new connections can be made that way. It is getting out of your comfort zone, by being intuitive, that can assist in fulfilling your needs. Mars in Cancer finds passion in domesticity, cooking, nature and defends those he loves. It maybe a time to strengthen these areas in a new way or do things differently. Those of you with a Cancer Ascendant or Mars in Cancer, start a new cycle of energy investment.  Moon is in mutual reception with Mars in this Full Moon both in their signs of Fall, so feelings will be activated that’s for sure, and there maybe also a feeling of “lacking resources” or support in an area of life, at least in the way we expect it. It is emotional security that comes to the fore. Feelings and subconscious reactions can be intense and deep too. This is a call to fight for what we need, or to experience deeply buried feelings surfacing. It can feel heavy, but ultimately detoxifying. Self protection or survival anxieties may also become part of  our collective and individual psyches. And perhaps this is the spirit and mood with which people will go to vote in the upcoming European elections. This is a planetary connection of the birthing or purging of something of the past. Doing things differently may generate more fertility and response from others. Venus just met Uranus in Taurus and there may have been an incident that awakened you regarding your values, appreciation of things around you, your relationships, creations, self-worth, money and pleasure. A new Venus-Uranus cycle has just began! It is time to reflect on that, and your attachments. A seed has been planted that relates to your need to awaken the notion of fertility in life, and soon Mars will activate it by sextiling Uranus. Neptune is making a harmonious connection to the Nodes, there is something to be inspired and sensitised about with others. Artistic, musical and spiritual collective endeavours are flowing well. Significant others can become part of your evolution path.  Do not limit your mind. Mercury is passing through some ‘difficult’ territory in late Taurus, and is combust, watch for mental burn out, and fixed thoughts. Take your time, reflect. Prepare for a mental re-birth (superior conjunction) on May 21-22 in Gemini as this lunar cycle draws to a close, that will activate a shift of energy in the beginning of June with the New Moon cycle.

This Full Moon may have a more personal feel for you:

If you have personal planets, angular house cusps or points at 27 (+/-3) degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius and Leo, 03 degrees of Taurus, and  01 degree of Cancer, and 18 degrees of Pisces, Cancer and Capricorn. Those of you born at night may benefit greatly from Venus in its domicile until June 9th.
