Changing our world(s) requires changing ourselves
Reforms – Collectivism – Creative networking
How do we participate and contribute in common causes? How we help others, which causes activate and join us with the group?
Where does the “heart” of society beat? Is speaking and disseminating the truth an effective revolutionary act? How does vision, purpose and the value of handling freedoms become fortified by actions?
Who identifies with our dreams? Friendship, group energy and altruism directs us to the retrieval of hopes.
Collective wounds become shields and illuminate alternate ways for redemption.
A new lunar cycle begins at 08 degrees Aquarius, where in the next 29 days a new intention is energised to do with all those things that bring us closer to our wishes and hopes. The sign of Aquarius reminds us that we can change our reality. It connects us to the notion of altruism, reform, freedom and humanitarian love.
In order to achieve this it transfers its creative expression, and will to the group and collective realm of society. This lunar cycle assists us in seeking the place and the people who would validate our individuality, support our freedom and it can revitalise self through connections with groups, common causes and new activities. It is a lunar month that will take us out of our habitual zone, perhaps disrupt our routines, and help us focus on our intention to change, or liberate ourselves from any restrictive forces. How can we best support our independence? How would others play a part in the changes we hope for? How does friendship impact our lives? Continue reading

This Full Moon highlights our sense of emotional security and all that it entails. Moon in Cancer the sign of its dignity brings to light domestic issues, habitual patterns, instinctive responses, family, mother, home, real estate, collections and re-collections, shelter, homeland, safety and protection, and emphasises the need to care for what we feel our own. There is a Cardinal Grand Square planetary configuration in the skies, which promotes action and change, taking initiative, and the need to deal with issues or crises head on. Continue reading

This Super Full Moon highlights our cognitive capacity. As information disseminates faster and faster the current energy climate highlights the tension between processing data and developing awareness, or simply making sense of things. Truth is a critical factor on a collective level, and this particular cycle exposes us to the need for truth and meaning even more so. The cycle began in the sign of Sagittarius, a sign that likes to explore and seek truth pushing boundaries. Communication is even more critical at this culminating phase, as the Moon in Gemini reflects the light of the Sun in Sagittarius. Our capacity to ask the right questions will make all the difference in the answers and truths we seek or give into.
The role of the media is even more highlighted at this lunation, as well as all issues of travel, documents, education, learning, transportation, immigration, and agreements of all sorts. Experience and the past comes in as an additional component to gear our activities or inner dialogue towards a reviewing of reality or structures that need to be re-examined or re-negotiated. This feels like a ‘judgement’ and “commitment” period bridging two lunar cycles, those of Sagittarius and Capricorn, which particularly have to do with how ideology, knowledge, and experience develops into structure and established reality. On a collective level ideologies, belief systems form structured regimes, that we may call governments or other formal institutions that exercise control. On a personal level experience, knowledge, beliefs and faith become the vehicle for building structures in our public sphere of life, such as reputation, career, and achievements that reflect our societal goals and roles. Mercury turns Rx on December 19th, and as God Hermes was known as the only Olympian to have free-access between two worlds a more internalised dialogue can occur between the higher and the lower mind, or between the level of our mundane reality and that of what lies beneath on the realm of our psyche. So, how we mentally tune into our reality, and all that it entails such as constraints, commitments, restrictions, goals, that affect our psychological condition is what matters the most. The way we think about things largely affects our appreciation of reality and ultimately the goals we set out and work towards realising. Continue reading

Healthy transcendence is supported by truthfulness
What disappoints us redefines our expectations and ideals
The general backdrop:
The New Moon in Sagittarius every year brings our focus and needs to seeking meaning, vision and truthfulness, so that a better understanding can be gained in this process. Sagittarius and its themes is the area of life that is highly activated since 2015 until December 2017, as Saturn travels through the sign, and basically asks us to block out peripheral vision and set boundaries so that we can invest our time and “build” in meaningful ways. When the planet that signifies restriction is in this far reaching sign, the outcome of this transit may point to a restructuring of belief systems, which would be tested through ideological battles, conservatism or a lack of tolerance to the ‘foreign’ element. This may have felt like lack of hope, lack of perspective, even lack of inspiration as Saturn squared Neptune for most of 2015 and especially 2016, but gave an opportunity for a leap of consciousness regarding ideals. The mutable signs represent the end of seasons. This intense celestial activity on this modality via eclipses in the Virgo/Pisces axis and Jupiter/Saturn/Neptune in the mutable signs especially until September 2016, signified the end of an era, that has mostly to do with a need for a collective shift in consciousness. Our mental GPS needs to re-orient itself, and as Jupiter has changed signs since September and entered Libra expansion expressed through the lens of fairness and equal sharing, brings an opportunity to get an overview and also experience a shift in our alliances and relationships. This extremely rare Super Full Moon highlights our capacity to cultivate stability on the physical and material level of experience. The fixed modality deals with attachment, the Taurus/Scorpio polarity has especially to do with attachments to resources, possessions, desires and the notion of ownership vs sharing. Access to resources, our own or other’s, highlights decisions, intensifies responses which may manifest through joint ventures, intimacy in relationships or a better emotional and psychological grounding in our attempt to claim continuity.
As developments unfold on a larger scale we can either choose to try and make sense of confusion, or dissolution with endless scenarios or establish a connection with the more stabilising forces available to us through what we really can claim and is our own on the personal level. With Moon in Taurus the need for security and stability is pronounced, the need to gratify the senses or indulge is instinctive. Any scarcity on that level of experience will be felt strongly and affect self-worth. Continue reading

Whether we are dealing with closure, an ending or a deeper connection this new lunar cycle will allow us to become more conscious and sensitised of how this processes connect to the greater plan. Mercury, God Hermes the psychopomp in conjunction with the New Moon gives access to empowering information, and the trine with Neptune in Pisces and the Nodes allows the processing to engage with creative and unconditional surrendering that forms a new synthesis. It is at the moment we pause or reflect, that sensibility heightens, an ideal refuge is found, a magic solution appears, inspiration transpires, and we can visualise how the things we are moving away from can merge with our evolution path.
Moon is in it’s Fall sign and we may come up against all things we cannot control, but it helps us to become aware that any change or re-birth includes an ending. Mars exalted in Capricorn ruler of the New Moon, is prime motivator in investing energy with a sense of timing, realism and in deep awareness of consequence until November 8th. As it enters Aquarius the shift of energy will promote expression through a humanitarian or rebellious filter.
On another level truth and values reciprocate a dialogue that attempts to define and objectify purpose, balance and give and take. (Jupiter and Venus mutually receive each other).
Venus and Saturn have just began their new yearly cycle in Sagittarius and the pressure to process what truthfully sustains or restricts unions must evolve. Our commitments would be tested on the basis of aims or beliefs, and the capacity to integrate a sense of renewal and freedom as the trine to Uranus in Aries will perfect in the crescent Moon phase.

Cultivating individualism and renewal vs honouring in a cooperative spirit
An unpredictable Super Full Moon which stimulates energy invested in establishing a new direction
The cycle began in Libra on the 1st of October setting new intentions in relationships and cooperation with others, and now culminates in Aries, as Moon conjoins Uranus heightening intuition, unrest and unexpected change, marking a very active and purposeful time personally or collectively, in the next two weeks.
The Aries – Libra axis highlights the me vs us filters of expression. Any opposition between two planets (including the Moon-Sun pair) is the culmination point in a cycle, and also the time where decisions matter the most. How do we respond to instability, how do we actively protect while energy manifests outside the boundaries of the “plan”? Continue reading

It’s all about achieving balance, and the “Other”. Venus in Scorpio dispositor of the New Moon, reminds us of the descend of Persephone in the underworld. This is a transformational month for relationships of all kinds, including “open enemies”. Venus trines Neptune: What we imagine and what we surrender to, can have a profound effect on our notion of love and appreciation through the senses. Our sensibility heightens, we are seduced and inspired, as some magical and unexpected “connections” occur. Mars exalted in Capricorn squares Jupiter and the New Moon: On another level expansion of energy will precede breakthroughs, and set beginnings into motion. Any breaks or outbreaks will involve decisions and revelations of truth. Receiving involves liberation. (Last aspect the Moon makes before it enters Scorpio is an Opposition to Uranus). The emphasis on cardinal energy calls for taking initiative and need to exercise control on the urge to act prematurely. Jupiter will be combust until October 7, so this need to expand may be overpowered by ego, or someone else. This lunar month is great for artists, and for any kind of exposure oriented activity, as well as practising a more unconditional kind of love.

This Lunar Eclipse @ 24 Pisces highlights our vulnerabilities. How does our Achilles heel become our conscious path to healing? How desire to meaningfully connect with others forms a breakthrough from repetitive patterns of confinement and voluntary alienation?
